What data we collect

LaunchForge collects the following information when you install and use the app:

• Store information: your Shopify store domain and access token (required for app functionality).
• Product data: product titles, descriptions, tags, variants, and images — only when you actively generate content.
• Generated content: intelligently generated text (descriptions, SEO, ad copy) is stored to enable history and reuse.
• Usage metrics: generation counts and token usage for billing and rate limiting.

How we use your data

• To generate Smart content for your products.
• To enforce plan limits and billing.
• To improve the app and troubleshoot issues.

Third-party services

We send product data to Smart providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) solely for content generation. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

Data retention

We retain your data while your app is installed. Upon uninstallation, we delete all store data within 48 hours, as required by Shopify's data protection policies. GDPR data deletion requests are processed automatically.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or by uninstalling the app.
